This exhibition, curated by National Glass Centre, features four exciting international designers who all reference political conflict in their work to create intriguing, captivating and thought provoking jewellery.

Shirly Bar-Amotz’s brooches are informed by the current climate in Israel and Palestine. Inger Margrethe Larsen’s humorous collection of medals, celebrate the everyday hero. Silversmith Iona McCuaig’s work is inspired by the experiences of a Scottish soldier during World War II and Kali Arulpragasam’s latest line of jewellery, Terrorism Affects Tourism is an attempt to remind us of the underlying beauty of countries that have been marred by violence.
