Since April 2013 Inger Margrethe Larsen has been doing an Artist residency in Jaipur / India at
The Finest Sculpture Studio and Art Foundry in India called “Studio Sukriti”.
Furthermore she is collaborating with a fine jewellery company which is specialized in enameling called “Jewel Ace” and a textile company called “Tushar Handworks”.
With her artist residency in Jaipur Inger Margrethe Larsen hope to develop a new body of work inspired by the craftsmanship of India in conjunction with her background from Denmark.

Inger Margrethe Larsen’s work:
Inger Margrethe Larsen aims to challenge and break the boundaries for jewellery objects by utilize an extensive range of materials. Her means of expression are fundamentally defined by her ideas, and she always aims to bring an element of humor or edge into her work as a distinguishing characteristic. Furthermore she explores the unlimited ways of adorning and decorating the surroundings by making larger objects with jewellery elements, as Inger quotes »Jewellery does not exist as an isolated decoration but is a part of the overall form«
